Strategic Planning
Organizations need to understand what their goals and how they plan to achieve those objectives so they can make informed decisions. When Flatley Read enters into a relationship with an organization, we often recommend that we start with a Strategic Work Plan. We will work with your organization, and stakeholders, to establish a plan that identifies:
- Inventory of Planning Documents
- Organizational Goals
- Preferred outcomes and alternatives
- Estimated cost
- Available funding resources
- Priority order of tasks
It is our hope that when an organization adopts a Strategic Work Plan then there is an establish consensus on how we can proceed moving forward.
Organizational Operations and Program Support
It is very expensive and time-consuming for government and non-government organizations to hire staff. There is salary and benefits, as well as increase in payroll taxes, insurance, and training costs. Flatley Read offers a solution for these organizations by providing organizational operations and program support.
Flatley Read offers flexible pricing to assist your organization with problems, both major and minor. We can step in and manage overall operations of a small organization:
- Creating and distributing agendas and minutes for board meetings
- Managing communication with members and stakeholders
- Creating and implementing invoicing and bill paying systems
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, local regulations and organization bylaws

Grant Writing
Federal, state, and foundation grants are highly technical and often presented in a manner intended to weed out projects that don’t match technical program guidelines. Flatley Read ensures that your narrative is strong, in accordance with program guidelines, organized in a manner that will demonstrate capacity to achieve the deliverables set forth in the application in an efficient and timely manner, and will maximize the total number of points awarded.We can write a single grant, or we can write grants as a part of an agreement for operations/program support or community development services.
